Workman & Associates traces its beginnings back to June 1988, when David Workman began building the firm by following the simple idea that “the client’s best interest is the only interest to be considered.” Whether through personal outreach, community involvement, radio programs, social media, or educational seminars, investors came to know and trust Dave’s conservative, service-oriented approach to financial planning.

From the very beginning, the business has been locally owned and operated, allowing the firm to make day-to-day decisions focused on integrity, quality, and genuine appreciation for the clients who choose to work with Workman & Associates. Over the years, as the firm continued to grow, Dave strived to see the future before it happened—investing in technology, processes, and people to ensure the client experience always came first. In doing so, he built an exceptional team that continues to serve as the engine behind the office’s day-to-day operations.

Today, Workman & Associates remains rooted in those founding values while continuing to evolve. In 2021, Matthew Jennings, a lifelong resident of Logansport and Cass County, joined the firm as an advisor and now serves as its owner. Matt and Dave continue to work side by side, blending experience and innovation to help individuals, families, and businesses plan with confidence. Their dream is to keep this office running for many decades to come, and while some things will change with time, they are confident their value system will not.
