David Workman, AIF®, LPL Registered Principal, is an experienced investment professional and has worked out of his Logansport office since 1988. A unique aspect of Workman & Associates is its local ownership. Dave has long-standing relationships with some of the world’s premier money managers giving him critical insight to help you make your financial decisions. In developing a personalized portfolio recommendation for you, he takes into account your income flow, cash analysis, debt, long-term investments, insurance, and retirement accounts. Once a portfolio is established and agreed upon, it is coupled with a contact management system to allow monitoring of your accounts on a scheduled basis. Dave’s office handles retirement accounts (i.e. 401(k), 403(b), 457, 401(a), SEP, and SIMPLE’s) ranging from plans just starting up to plans in excess of $25,000,000.
Dave is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), which allows him to do fee-based planning for retirement plans and act as a co-fiduciary. In addition, Dave emphasizes employee education and will bring the resources available which strives to help employees become smarter investors. Dave’s office has 4 full-time associates to service and assist his clients.

In 2019, he was ranked #22 in Indiana in the annual Best-In-State Wealth Advisor list published by Forbes, and again in 2020, ranked 19th in the state.

Dave has been consistently recognized by LPL Financial as one of their top-producing brokers (Chairman’s Council, 2020) ranking him in the top 1-2% out of nearly 17,000 worldwide based on annual production. His office oversees over 2,000 brokerage and advisory clients with the accounts totaling over $465,000,000 (including retirement plans advisory and brokerage assets) as of November 4, 2020.
Dave graduated from Knox College with a B.A. and from South Dakota State University with an M.S. and an M.Ed. Dave believes in giving back to the community. He has been a Kiwanis Past President, Elder for his church multiple times, had radiothons at Christmas to raise money for the local Salvation army, helped establish Huston Park, coached many YMCA and AAU basketball games, Past President of the Logansport Music Boosters, and has volunteered his time to teach at local schools.
Dave is married to Beth, and they live in Cass County. They have three adult children and one granddaughter.
